Olive for Education doesn't offer insurance for student devices. However, all our 1:1 bundles include an extended warranty and accidental damage cover. This covers device faults and breakages (including screens, up to once per year).
Please note that this isn't insurance. You might like to explore other options, including:
- Home Insurance: Ask your home insurance provider if they can include the device under your home insurance policy (remember to ask if there is an excess as this might affect any pay outs)
- Online Insurance Provider: There are many Online Providers of device insurance. A Google search will help you find different options. This can be an expensive option and we recommend you study each one carefully.
The cost that you pay for insurance will be different for each provider. Remember to check the overall cost, so if for example you are paying monthly, you should work out how much this comes to over the term of a year, 2 years, 3 years, etc. Remember also to be aware of exactly what is and isn’t covered, you may for example have to pay extra to cover the risk of a device getting lost, you may have to pay shipping costs, etc.
Olive for Education do not offer Insurance and cannot assist with any claims. If you have taken insurance with your Home Insurance provider or an Online Insurance provider, you should contact them directly.
