Dell Laptops
In many cases, Dell may arrange for an on-site technician to visit your child's school for repairs. However, if the laptop needs to be sent to Dell's repair centre, you'll be advised to follow the below packaging instructions.
Asus Laptops
Your Asus laptop will be shipped to our repair centre. Please follow the below packaging instructions to ensure a smooth repair process.
- Remove any protective cases.
- Include the charger and stylus. (for Dell Laptops please do not include the stylus)
- Use a sturdy box: Reuse the original packaging or use a sturdy, corrugated box.
- Add padding: Use cushioning materials to protect the laptop.
- Seal the box securely: Use packing tape to seal all seams.
Attach the provided shipping label to the box and deliver it to the school reception on the morning of the scheduled date.
Repair Timeline: Most repairs are completed within 3-5 business days. This may be longer if replacement parts are required. Once repaired, your laptop will be returned to the school. You'll receive a notification when it's ready for collection.
Important Note on Accidental Damage Warranty: If the repair is due to physical damage, it will use one of your 5 allotted accidental damage warranty claims.
